Meanwhile, down in Miami Shores, Dr. Rock and the Terminal Degrees (with JRM on bass) closed out an 18-year run at Barry University with a bang in April 2007, as Steve Althouse (Dr. Rock himself) retired after thirty years of full-time teaching!

Q&B returned home triumphantly after 43 years, hitting the stage at St. Ann's on Saturday night (13 January 2007) for the jam-packed St. Ann's Irish Ceili. Opening for Ceili Rain, Q&B also had a chance to savor the moment - didn't Sister Cathleen once swear they'd never amount to anything?

Quigsy's finally on YouTube! Just when you thought he couldn't get any groovier, Quigsy lights up the stage with the Dr. Dave Band in Tampa! How he actually wound up on stage with the Dr. Dave Band is a story too bizarre to get into here, but Quigsy's nephew Joe Price shot more than enough YouTube video action for some serious extortion. Loretta's reaction apparently was: "There's no fool like an old fool," or some such comment. You'd think that after 30 years she'd be used to it!
