Monty began in 1988 to record many of his early memories into computer files, and completed a number of stories before his death in 1997.  His surviving children (Tom, Jim, Jerry, and Ellen) are now completing work on some of his unfinished memory files.  Many of Monty's army stories are contained in letters, and these are available below.
