Elizabeth (Betty) O'Donnell, third child of Edward Malachi and Florence Feeney O'Donnell, of was born in Syracuse in 1924.  She attended Most Holy Rosary Elementary School, graduated from the Convent Academy  in 1942, and attended Georgetown Visitation Jr. College in Washington, DC.

Betty met Bill Pfohl in 1945, and they were married in 1947.  They moved to the famous "funny-farm" apartment in Liverpool, then moved to Winkworth Parkway in Syracuse in 1952 and began raising six children.  Bill died in 1976, and Betty died in 1994.  The Pfohl family includes:
