Dean Ray Koontz was born July 9, 1945 in Everett, Pennsylvania. Koontz is one of the most prolific and best-selling fiction author known primarily for his popular suspense novels. Koontz currently resides in Newport Beach, a city in Southern California with his wife Gerda and their dog Trixie Koontz.
